Subject: Different... I like it.
I think what Lackley meant to say was "in my personal anti-invitation opinion I think this is crap."

I kinda like the circus feel with new interesting lyrics. All I seem to hear today are songs about love, hate and fame. The Family band provides a new twist to music and are obviously enjoying themselves a whole lot more than Lackley, the cynical critic.

Subject: You had to be there...
THEY ARE MUCH MORE THAN A BAND. I caught them three nights this summer at the Salt Lake City Arts Festival (@ the library, of course) and they were amaizing. They are "indie-vaudville" and DAD does this Nerd-Lounge thing and does a "so bad it's good" comedy routine between numbers. MOM's slide shows are hilarious but powerful (real Retro Americana), and DAUGHTER on drums holds it together. There is no way audio can reproduce the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Player Experience. Don't miss any chance you might have to see them...you'll be telling all your friends all about it while constantly saying "I guess you had to be there..."

Subject: Couldn't disagree more
This is crap...I am sorry to have to be the one that says it, but the truth hurts. I like the idea(playing to slides bought from yardsales, estate sales, etc..) However, this band is horribly bad. They sound like songs I would sing in the shower, then put to an off beat and bad instrumentals.

Subject: very pleasing!
A very interesting and cool concept, and the music made me laugh, which is always a plus! Sound quality is great. This band should be one to keep your eye's on!
